Floorplans

The floorplans are defined using CAD drawings or BIM models. These plans are the basis of space data in TRIRIGA and the indoor maps.

  • They automatically generate space representations within TRIRIGA when using the CAD or BIM integration tools.
  • The floor plans are also able to automatically get converted to geospatial data for indoor maps within Esri ArcGIS Indoors using the ArcGIS Pro tools.
  • The quality of the floor plan is superior. This enables the proper function of the CAD/BIM data that allows the representation of walls, doors, polylines, and consistency of layers across floors.

Space Data in TRIRIGA

  • The TRIRIGA system ingests building and floorplan data. This enables the creation of a space hierarchy model for the entire facility.
  • Space Managers and Planners can enrich the data by adding on allocations and people assignments.
  • Reservation Managers add value to the data by defining reservable spaces and other appropriate resources.
  • The Operations Managers add assets to the available space data and also link it to the TRIRIGA records for efficient operations management.
  • This data obtained interacts with other available TRIRIGA records to support roles in the Facility Management team. Further, this helps track and manage leases, capital projects, internal chargebacks, and corporate sustainability goals.

Geospatial Model

The ArcGIS Indoors produces a geospatial model. This includes routing pathways across the entire facility or campus. ArcGIS indoors has two components that work in unison. They are the ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS enterprise.

ArcGIS Pro offers the required tools to:

  • Ingest data from floor plans and TRIRIGA
  • Enrich data with points of interest and routes
  • Generate a complete geospatial model of the facility
  • Publish maps

ArcGIS Enterprise offers the following:

  • Server to host maps for interactive routable maps for all facilities
  • Highly configurable 2D and 3D map visualizations
  • Viewer applications
  • APIs to embed maps

Indoor Maps

The connector for Esri ArcGIS Indoors enables interactive maps and wayfinding within TRIRIGA perceptive apps.

  • The connector for Esri ArcGIS Indoors is available as an Object Migration package that can be installed into your TRIRIGA instance
  • It enables new fields within TRIRIGA to configure authentication with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise Server, configure view settings, and link maps to buildings, floors, and spaces in TRIRIGA
  • It adds UI for indoor maps within the TRIRIGA Locate perceptive app. The UI enables the search for people, and spaces, as well as step-by-step wayfinding across campus. The UI is invoked for buildings that are configured for indoor maps.
  • The UI can be configured for kiosk mode. Requires a dedicated user with settings to configure specific kiosk settings such as position on the map and zoom level.
  • Kiosk mode runs within web browser-enabled kiosks or touch screen devices in the horizontal orientation.
